Ingredients
For the Dough
- 150g of all-purpose Flour
- 1 tsp of Cinnamon
- 1 tsp of Baking Soda
- 1 pinch of Salt
- 1 pinch of Nutmeg
- 200g of Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 55g of Oil
- 250g of Peeled and Diced Apple

For the Caramel Topping
- 115g of Butter
- 110g of Brown Sugar
- 60g of Cream
- 1 tsp of Vanilla Extract
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180ºC.

Dough
Mix the flour with the baking soda, the salt, the cinnamon and the nutmeg.
In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks with the sugar, the oil and the egg.
Then, add the apple.
Add this mixture to the first one, and mix all together.
Put in the moulds previously oiled and bake for 30 minutes.

Topping
Put the butter, the sugar and the cream in a frying pan and let it melt until it looks like a caramel cream.
Turn the heat off and add the vanilla extract.
Let it cool slightly and spread on the cupcakes.
